Bahar has been working in location sound recording for the past 5 years. She was able to seamlessly transition into this field of work thanks to over a decade of prior experience working in both the music industry and post-production. This blend of backgrounds has given her a multi-skilled edge when it comes to capturing great sound no matter the project. Bahar’s inquisitiveness, reliability, and optimism, means she is always up for a challenge and capable of rising to it! She is often travelling internationally working on projects, from hard hitting documentaries, to TV shows, commercials, and viral entertainment for branded content. Priding herself on being approachable and able to slot comfortably into crews, Bahar is highly sought after by producers.

Why do you sound record?

“I chose to work in sound simply because I’m an audiophile. As a musician and vocalist, I’ve always been drawn to the intricacies of the human voice and the way sound is captured, shaped, and tuned to our ears. I love the versatility of this work — no two days are ever the same — and I thrive on the creative challenges it brings. I’m passionate about what I do and genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life along the way.”
