The Ambient QP550 QuickPole Series 5 brings together the best features of the QXS and QP series. For the QuickPole it uses specially developed carbon composite fibre with an additional layer of UHM fibres. Thanks to this technology, our QuickPole S5 is as stable as the QP 4-segment series and as light as the QXS 5-segment series. The innovative construction allows us to offer a further length: the QP5150 extends to over 6 metres. Ideal for every mobile use!

Easy to pull in and out
Things have to be quick on the set. With a low-maintenance, long-lasting counter bearing made of Teflon, felt and silicone lubricant, the tubes of the Boompole can be pulled in and out extremely easily . You can rely on your QuickPole in any weather.
Longer grip sleeves
Another feature are the new locks: The new, longer handle sleeves with their finely grooved surface offer you ideal grip. We were also able to further optimise the thread pitch and even our unique anti-rotation device: instead of a steel pin, a high-precision Hirth toothing is used, as is otherwise known from the bearings on camera rigs. The locks come together by themselves and with just a quarter turn the boom is locked bombproof.
Clever cabling
We have come up with a clever internal cable solution in the Angel for you . A removable tip and the new foot end make retrofitting microphone cables child’s play: Simply guide the pre-assembled cable from above through the boompole and plug it into the rear end, that’s it.
