The A20‑TX is a very high‑spec, professional digital wireless bodypack transmitter, offering a tuning range from 169 MHz to 1,525 MHz and selectable RF power from 2 mW to 40 mW.It supports a wide variety of inputs — lavaliers (2‑ or 3‑wire), balanced mics, line-level, AES3/AES42 digital mics, and even guitar — thanks to its Lemo connector.

The Sound Devices A20‑TX is ideal for high‑end film, TV, and location sound work that demands extremely flexible RF coverage (169 MHz–1,525 MHz), long battery life, and remote control. Its GainForward architecture lets you manage gain remotely from the receiver rather than the transmitter, and it also includes a 32‑bit float recorder and ultra-stable timecode for reliable backup and sync.
